A sudden squall gives the impression that the end of the world may be nigh, but an enthusiastic, if unskilled, sailboarder battles with the elemental forces, oblivious to God’s imminent judgement on his efforts. Philip’s feelings for what is right, however, have extended his own hand to the salvation of the West Pier, shown here restored to glory - just because he can and because he still has hope.
