  • Inspired by the lowest tide for 100 years, this painting was composed from a dozen or more different photographs and sketches, creating a scene which, while possible required a great deal of artistic licence. There is still hope that the West Pier will one day be restored but it will take more than a few brushes and paint for that to happen..
